Do you teach wheel throwing classes?
We are a hand building studio, our classes are all focused around building with your hands and tools.
What type of pottery classes do you offer?
We have multiple classes and workshops, our montly occuring classes are:
4 Week Hand Building Course
Clay and Sip
After school pottery
Lego Club
Potters Club
Do I need any experience for your clay and sip classes?
No experience needed, our clay and sips are available for everyone to learn basic skills to create something you will love and want to take home and show off to your family and friends.
Do I need any experience for the potters club?
Yes! Potters club is for people who have some to advanced experience in hand buidling. This time is dedicated to our potters who use our creative space to build want they want to! There is always someone there to assist if needed, but no formal training provided.
What should I bring to clay and sips?
We cant wait to have you! All you have to bring is your amazing selves, BYO drinks and you might need Pinterest...
What is provided: Clay, Tools, Techniques, Assitance, Studio.
Can I bring my own tools and clay?
We ask that tools are not brought into the studio as we do not want to mix your tools with our own. We ask that you reach out to us before bringing in your own clay, but we love to see how everyones clay turns out!
Do you hire out your studio?
Yes! Our studio is available to hire out, please get in contact with us and we can send your information.
Do you do private events? e.g birthday parties, team-building.
ABSOLUTELY! This is one of our favourite things to do. For a private event most of the time we need a minimum of 6ppl and kids birthday parties 8ppl. Get in contact with us, and we cant wait to begin the planning stage with you.
What is pottery club?
Pottery club is for our gals and pals who have completed our 4-week hand building course or have experience in the clay world! At request we welcome everyone! This is a 2hr session dedicated to clay lovers who are able to chat and share their creative niche. Snacks are welcomed!
How do I begin my pottery journey?
We would love to introduce you to the pottery world. We have a couple of options available, Clay and sip, 4 week hand building course and at request private events. These options can all bring you into the world of pottery, if you are looking for a little taste, clay and sip, private events. Diving right in, 4 week hand building course.
Do you offer kids classes?
We have afterschool classes available on Monday and Thursday from 3:30-4:45. They have the option to paint or build.
Can I bring my NDIS clients?
We love having NDIS clients here in the studio, we ask that you Get in Contact with us before bringing them in as we want to ensure an enjoyable experience.
Where do we park?
You are welcome to park on the street or parking is available to the left when you drive in through the gate.
Do you sell items made in the studio?
We absolutely do! We have hand built creations made by our potters available in studio. Available to everyone to purchase and to come look at.
How many people does your studio accommodate?
Studio 1 can accomodate 18ppl and Studio 2 can accommodate 12. All together we can accommodate up to 30ppl.
Do you do anything else besides hand building?
We have slip casting, where you pour the slip into a mould. You can either paint the moulds already created or come In for a lesson to learn slip casting.
Do we need to be apart of a homeschoolers group to come in on Friday?
No, homeschooler class on Friday is available for everyone. If you would like to bring your own homeschoolers group for another day please get in contact with us.
